My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although clean and comfortable, had a partial view due to a construction trailer. The service was friendly and informative, but not the most welcoming I've encountered. The location was ideal, close to Mývatn and its attractions, with fantastic views of the lava fields and the lake. The dining experience varied from being extensive and delicious to below standard for the price paid.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The rooms were a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the winter wonderland outside, especially with the convenient door access to the open field for capturing the stunning aurora borealis. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, as they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and even went the extra mile to provide me with a first aid kit upon arrival.
